What is AfricaClassmates?
Developed as a venue for reuniting friends, classmates, and teachers, AfricaClassmates connects
people who attended school in Africa from the primary to the University level. With a database
of over 50,000 African educational institutions, people all over the world will be able to reconnect
with friends online. Our goal is to help individuals who studied in Africa to reestablish friendships
and become an information resource for other people interested in studying in Africa. No matter if you
live in Africa, the Americas, Asia, or Europe, you can restore connections with your friends, coworkers,
teachers, and professors anywhere in the world.
Is there a charge for membership?
Membership to AfricaClassmates.com is free; however, you must register to participate on the site.

How do I become a member of AfricaClassmates?
To become a member of AfricaClassmates simply complete our online registration.
It is simple and only takes minutes. The only requirement for membership is that
you attended an educational institution at primary, secondary, or college level on
the continent of Africa.
Can I browse the directories without becoming a member?
No. You must be a registered member of AfricaClassmates.

What is your email policy?
It is the policy of AfricaClassmates to send our members only the types of email they elect to
receive in addition to AfricaClassmates customary business communications (address confirmation,
renewal notifications, new product offerings, etc.) Further, it is our policy to remove members
from any AfricaClassmates mailing list to which they have subscribed upon request (members will
continue to receive customary business communications from AfricaClassmates). At any time, members
can update their email preferences list via the "My Profile" button. In addition, every opt-in
email communication from AfricaClassmates will contain clear and obvious instructions for how the
member can remove himself or herself from that mailing list.
